The
Dig-Next
Series of LED controllers

The Dig-Next series of LED controllers from QuinLED builds upon the well received dig2go, Dig-Uno, Dig-Quad and Dig-Octa series of addressable LED controllers re-envisioned for the Next Generation of Addressable LED controllers! The idea is to provide a pre-assembled only series of LED controllers that have less constraints then the set form factors of the previous controllers and look very much toward the future in regards to micro-controllers, implemented features and circuits while all being packaged in an attractive and easy to use case!

As you’ve come to expect from QuinLED the primary design goal of the controllers has been safety first and then features.

Key features are in the specification list per controller but the main ones include:

  • Auto and True 5V-48V support
    • With true support I mean also allowing voltages below 5V so that when voltage drop occurs to say 4.5V the controller doesn’t crash and still provides a stable data output signal.
  • Fused and switchable power outputs
    • Per output (positive side) power control and fusing to make sure that whatever happens, your setup is safe.
  • ESD and OverVoltage protected outputs
    • Built-in hardware protections on the data outputs to protect against ESD events such as lightning strikes but also overvoltage situations where for instance a 48V power line touches the data wiring.
  • New unique level-shifter circuits
    • No more resistor switcher but a custom developed and tuned output circuit providing the best data signal possible no matter the situation!
  • More Flash & Memory
    • 4MB flash is starting to become a constraint, more flash space will be required going forward next to also having more memory to work with.
